No, you don't take antibiotics for colds. A cold is a virus, so taking antibiotic which only kills bacterial infections causes resistant strains of bacteria such that antibiotics won't kill them.

Right, but an infection can be anything :)It doesn't have to just be a bacterial infection...the lymph nodes don't know or care the difference hehe :)

I am mostly doing better now :) I still have phlegm sometimes when I cough, but I am told that's the tail-end of being sick.
